Pruritus : Caution it might be scabies !

Typical presentation includes a severely pruritic rash with a predilection for the extremities and the trunk [1].
The dermatoscopy is a very useful tool, The most specific lesions of scabiosis are the acarine groove and the delta wing sign, however, they are
of en excoriated due to scratching, which makes differential diagnosis difficult with other pathologies that run with pruritus [2].


Scabies is an itching skin disease caused by the mite Sarcoptes scabiei which affects more than 100 million people worldwide. Regarded as a neglected tropical disease by the WHO, it is a major public health burden in endemic areas.
